Yung Joc..Zoe...Miami Beach Florida

These past few days have been very productive.......promotion..promotion...promotion....BUT Yesterday was a little different....Eventhough the message is always Hustlenomics in Stores August 28th this day the message was a little bit different....Todays message would be carried out at Carol City High School in Miami, Fl in front of over 4000 back to school students. This was the 1st annual Rick Ross day. This is the day where Joc would not only Rock the stage, but would hang with the youngstas giving them real words of encouragement helping them to get foucused and be serious about what was ahead this school year..

Prior to Rocking the stage Senator Kendrick Meeks wanted to make sure he came into Joc trailor to meet Yung Joc. He said that he was definately a fan of Joc and that would love to do some stuff with him in the future.

Following the brief meeting with the senator Joc hit the stage and Rocked out......For me Todays performance meant a little more.....No this was not SpringFest with a Nice $150,000 stage set up.....No Def Jams Hot Dog was not running the sound, but this was for the fans that could not afford to come see Joc perform and aren't old enough to get into the clubs. What better way to start the School year off right......Im sure the people of Carol City will always remember this day.

Following our participation at Rick Ross day we rushed over to Dolphin Malls FYE where Power 96 was Broadcasting Live holding a radio-a-thon raising money for Miami Childrens Hospital. This was hosted by DJ Laz of the laz morning show.....they had been pumping Jocs and Gorilla Zoes apperance at this event allllll day. This was a very good look.

Joc and Zoe came in and made their compelling speeches as to why people should come out and donate money to the Childrens hospital. Joc and Zoe both Signed autographed pictures and the Childrens hospital actually auctioned them off on the spot.....then outta no where Joc decides to Donate $500 to Childrens Hospital and Zoe matches it.

Joc explained top the people that as a child he had a very severe case of asthma and spent many days in the Childrens Hospital and there was a time where his out look wasn't soo great, but that it was a Childrens Hospital that kept his spirits up and so anything he could do to support he would( all live on air). The end goal was $50,000......They raised $48,000.

After pulling in on the tour bus I met Joc, Zoe and the Block Ent family at The Grand Hyatt of Tampa where they had a chance to refresh and get ready for the mornings events.

Our first stop of the morning was to the Wilbert Davis Boys and Girls club( Sponsored by WLLD) where over 100 children waited for a suprise visit..As soon as Joc and Zoe entered the Gym the Kids went Nutz.....100 kids screaming.....while on our way to the Boys and Girls Club coming from the hotel you could hear street team check in's from the Club and Shouts out from the station every few minutes until we arrived.

Joc and Zoe spoke to the Kids about life, the importance of education, the importance of starting this school year off right, the importance of being foucused, listening and "staying prayed up". The Kids we're very responsive. Following Talking with the chidren Joc and Zoe picked four students to come up and participated in a quiz game of some sort.....This Quiz had spelling, math, memory work and history.....After answering the questions corectly they were rewarded with $20 each.

Joc and Zoe both signed autographs and took pictures.

After leaving the Boys and Girls Club We were escorted to WLLD by the street team where Scant man and 10 lucky winners awaited our arrival. Joc and Zoe went live on the air....Coffee shop was played ..bomb dropped and brought back......Hood figga was played..bomb dropped and brought back....play ya cards was played .bomb dropped and brought back...then station PD Orlando came in to say what's up and ended up interviewing Joc and Zoe...the listeners all Got posters and autographed T'shirts. Joc and Zoe recorded drops.

Following the radio interview we headed to grab a bite to eat and chill until our next stop.

Our next stop of the day was to WBTP where Joc and Zoe would be interview by Stu....Following the interview we were met by 40 station winner that got a chance to come and hang with us at the "Behind the Beats Bar B Q" ...where they had the chance to get up close and personal with Joc and Zoe...very intimate.

Follwoing the Behind the Beats they met with DJ EKin who was set up in Jomammas office with his new internet TV show and interviewed both Joc and Zoe. The interview was great. Joc and Zoe both got a chance to meet Coka and Jomama.

Following the interview we headed to do. A mall walk thru at Univerity Mall where we would hit all the stores and the fans would come up and take pictures and ask for autographs.

The over all first day went GREAT.
Next stop FT Meyers and West Palm.

B5 HITTING SWITCHES IN CHATTANOOGA

Yesterday B5 hit Chattanooga to set it off for WJTT's Summer Jam. Our First stop was to meet up with WJTT radio Program Dirctor Keith and Music Director Magic at the radio station. Once we hit the station the Boys went on live and did a interview. The interview lasted about 45 mins. They took call ....reminded folks to come out to the show. Reminded folks to vote that video on the BET countdown....reminded folks to get the ringtones.....and just call everyone they know and tell them to support B5...as usual they thanked everyone of their fans for all their love.

Following the interview B5 headed to the venue to sound check. Following the soundcheck they hung in their tour bus fine tuning their show waiting for their chance to rock the stage. I must say at a time when average people with great hooks hit a stage...walk back and forth...continuously saying....."Yea...Yea....Yea....and....and You already know what it is"...........it was a REAL treat When B5 hit the stage.

REAL PERFORMING......REAL SINGING......REAL ENERGY......A REAL SHOW!!!!! WJTT got a GREAT SHOW. They got a group that actually took their craft seriously.The fans were locked in.....truthfully one would have to admit that B5 usually appeals to a more R&B pop audience and Chattanooga was not R&B pop, but this night IT DIDN'T MATTER.. STARS were in Their presence and all titles genres went out the window. Talk about HI ENERGY.These kids show must have lasted at least 35 minutes.....they did an actual show.....not a song and then "thank yall for comin out"......the moves were on point ....I'm talkin Bam...Bam..Bam........I guess all those rehersal of "and...5....6..5..6...7...8."....paid off........as they rocked the stage It was clear that these R&B groups better watch out......who wants to pay some R&B cats to just grind and do a two step....when they can get these dudes to come hit back flips. I mean after the first song I was tired from just watching them. I just knew it would slow down.....1 song...2 songs ...3 songs...4 songs.....5 songs, but I was wrong they rocked until the show was over.
